Several years ago, while attending an outdoor art show in Schroon Lake,
I paused for a moment, took in a deep breath of fresh air and commented aloud, “What a view.”
An unimpressed passerby coldly replied, “seen it before.”
Shocked, I thought to myself, I could admire this Adirondack landscape everyday and not tire of it.
The Mountains. The Lakes. The Trees. The Air. The Animals. Our Surroundings.
They are my inspiration.

This project consisted of individually choosing letters of the alphabet (from mom’s written notes) sizing each letter then cutting & pasting them together to form the word “Adirondacks” as if mom herself had penned it.
